MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL
So i figured out why women are getting more and more into football these days (besides the fact that it is a great sport). ESPN's Monday Night Football game this past week was watched by more viewers than any show in cable TV history except the 1993 Al Gore/ Ross Perot debate. Pittsburgh's shut out was seen by a record breaking 9.81 million homes.
Who knows, but for some reason MNF takes the cake.

Blame it on "Surround Sound"! My hubby (and i'm sure plenty of others) watches his precious "hi-def" with all the speakers on! There is no use trying to watch anything else on any of the other tv's in our house: upstairs, basement -- doesn't matter -- all you hear is announcers & whistles & that ever popular Football theme song. I think most women are at the point of, "If you can't beat 'em, join 'em"!

I completely agree. I love football, but thank god for DVR or else I would miss all my Monday Night shows.
